Now that cooler weather has arrived, you’re going to need to tweak your wardrobe. But there’s no reason you can’t look cool while keeping warm.
Here are a few fashion must-haves for the fall season.
Fall and sweaters always go hand in hand, and prints are in right now.
Native American-inspired patterns
paired with a plain T, jeans, and ankle boots combine for the ultimate go-to outfit.
Long striped sweaters also work well with knitted dresses on colder days. Pair with high boots—either black or brown—and emerge as a style master.
Ponchos are making a comeback as modern sweater-substitutes and beyond!
They can be plaid, plain, knitted, printed… the possibilities are seemingly endless. Ponchos are usually cardigans or pull overs in wool or chiffon.
Fall fashion is all about the aesthetics of design. Pair ponchos with colored or blue jeans and leather or suede boots for an eclectic fall style.
Printed flannel and plaid shirts still typify that down to earth country feel, perfect for a day of apple picking. Color pallet aside, pair printed flannel with knee-high or ankle boots completes this rustic look
Chic ankle, tall calf, or knee-high boots in leather, suede, or even rubber are trending this crisp and colorful season.
Designers have been using embellishments—like buckles, straps, fringe, studs, or zippers—to create signature boot collections.
As is the case with most footwear, boots primarily come in earth tones in fall collections. Black, grey, ivory, army green, marsala, and almost every shade of brown imaginable match ankle boots to fall colors.
An inviting leather jacket looks great with just about anything.
Leather is a must-have this season, because it works well with fall fashion essentials. A cropped jacket in black, green, brown, or burgundy creates a modern look.
Select one with a fabric change on the sleeves or lapel to add depth to the jacket and the outfit as a whole.
Winter is coming so we have to embrace all fall has to offer while we still can! The leaves are falling, the weather is shifting, and so are our garments.
