Fisher Falcons Men's Basketball Season Recap

Boston, MA - The Fisher College men’s basketball team put together a phenomenal 2014-15 season, ending the regular season with an astounding 21-7 record, with two games being the team’s longest losing streak (.750 winning percentage). This is only Fisher’s third season with 20 or more wins, and the first season since 2010 where the Falcons received top-25 votes twice. The Falcons were also the No. 1 team in weekly Association of Independent Institutions (AII) voting from December through January.

Fisher College DAPS

Division of Accelerated & Professional Studies

Fisher College first opened its doors in 1903 in the predominantly working-class city of Somerville, Massachusetts, just two miles north of Boston. The school was founded on the belief that the immigrants of that city should have an opportunity to advance beyond unskilled labor jobs.

The Division of Accelerated and Professional Studies was established in 1975 to serve the adult population of Eastern Massachusetts, with branch locations in:

  • Boston
  • Brockton
  • North Attleborough
  • New Bedford

The Fisher Online division began in 1998, and currently serves students from all over the United States and around the world.
